“Hey Mr. Milner I don't know if you remember me but I took your study skills class over the summer and now that first semester is almost over I just thought I should share with you my grades, the best grades I have ever had all of high school. Junior year first semester is supposed to be the hardest part of your high school career and I ended the first quarter with 4 As and 3 Bs and right now I have 5 As and 2 Bs. Your class has helped me so much in focusing and studying for tests. I approach studying differently and its improved my grades dramatically. So I guess I just wanted to say thanks for showing me new ways to get good grades. I am now able to make NHS which was my goal since the beginning of the year. Thank you Mr. Milner”

Norma Louise Milner Memorial Scholarship
Norma Louise Milner was dedicated to the education of young people. She worked tirelessly in the human services and education fields. For nearly three decades, she worked as a Teacher Assistant, Residential Counselor, and finally retiring as a Montgomery County Public Schools Para-educator.
The purpose and goal of this scholarship is to provide a deserving Middle and/or High School students the opportunity to engage in a summer enrichment course at Montgomery College. The scholarship will cover the cost of a course offered by Milner Educational Consulting.
